Jim Harbaugh Resigns with Michigan

Michigan's Last Season Success

Jim Harbaugh signs on for another 5 years as head football coach at the University of Michigan. There is a mixed reaction from fans. Last year, Jim Harbaugh (with the help of Mike McDonald and Josh Gattis) led our Michigan Wolverines to their first ever appearance in the College Football Playoffs against the Georgia Bulldogs. Sadly, the Wolverines lost to the Bulldogs 34-10. Although this was a tough loss, it was a huge step in the right direction for the program. For one thing, their appearance in the College Football Playoffs will certainly improve their recruiting of top prospects. With talented new recruits being added to the team, Michigan will likely become more competitive and stand a better chance of defeating other top colleges such as Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma.

Does the Future Look Bright With Jim Harbaugh?

Some fans are concerned that last year was a fluke or that the team’s success was attributed more to Jim Harbaugh's assistant coaches McDonald and Gattis than to his talents. With those two leaving the University after the end of last season, some are concerned that we will see a return to the lackluster success of prior seasons under Harbaugh's command. We will have to wait until next season to find out if Harbaugh has discovered a key to success. Harbaugh recently told fans in a press release about his new contract, My enthusiasm for tomorrow, the day after and everyday following is as high as ever, and we are ready to get on the practice field and start preparations for the 2022 season. Go Blue!
